The simple answer to, "Will Google Adsense make me rich?" is NO. However, I think of it as a way to get extra money. This blog will explain why Google Adsense alone will not make you rich and will offer some ideas for other ways to make money on your blog.
Why Google Adsense alone will not make you rich
Let's look at this through a logical perspective. Lets say that you make about $3 for your 1,000 hits per day. That means that if you get 40,000 hits per day (which is huge traffic), you will receive a measly $120 per day. The only way to make a significant amount of money off of Adsense is to cheat it, but you should not do that (read Why You Shouldn't Cheat Adsense)
What is the solution?
The obvious solution to this is that Google Adsense should not be your only source of money. There are other ways to make money from your blog. For example, I put banners for some of the websites that I discuss, and you become my referral if you click on the banner and sign up (so make sure to click on my banners if you want to sign up for any of the websites). You could also sell eBooks, which I have heard are effective and absolutely free to make; however, I have not tried it yet (but I am working on it).

Why You Shouldn't Cheat Adsense
If you got an adsense account intending to cheat google, I will tell you this: DO NOT DO IT. When I say you should not do it, trust me. If you're even thinking of cheating Google, you are probably a lot less experienced at this type of stuff than I am. Here are the three main reasons why it is a bad idea to cheat google.
- Google Will Catch You. Google has bots trained to catch you. The bots will find you, and they will disable your account. If you even just have some suspicious activity, Google will probably disable your account. Google catches over 99% of people who try to cheat Google before they make their first $100. A large amount of their profits comes from Adwords/Adsense advertisers. Google cares if you try to cheat them because click fraud makes them less trustworthy
- It is Morally Wrong. Cheating is stealing. You are not only stealing from Google but also from Adwords publishers (the people who put their ads on your blog/website).Why would steal money from Google and Adwords publishers if you wouldn't steal a car (I sure hope that your moral compass does tell you not to steal a car)? You may not get arrested for cheating Google adsense, but you shouldn't do it anyways?
- It is Too Difficult and Would Take Too Much Time. Even if you somehow do find a way to successfully cheat Google, it would probably be too difficult and take too much time. It is extremely difficult to steal from a business as big as Google. It would take too much time to figure out how to do it, and it would probably take even more time to maintain than people legitimately clicking on your ads.Why would you cheat Google if it would be much easier to make money without cheating Google?
